During our family stay at Pousada Garoupas, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodating staff who swiftly transformed our room to suit our needs. With two children under 6, their flexibility in providing a comfortable double bed ensured a peaceful night's rest for all of us. The morning routine became a joy with a satisfactory breakfast spread, albeit a bit dated, it was hygienic and served its purpose well, keeping us fueled for our daily adventures.Being a short distance from the bus station offered us convenience, and the proximity to local shops and restaurants made exploring the area effortless. However, amidst our pleasant memories, the standout feature was the functioning Wi-Fi - a rare find that kept everyone connected during our stay.As a travel journalist devoted to eco-friendly experiences, Pousada Garoupas may lack modern amenities, but for the value it offers, especially for families, it surpasses expectations. If you seek a no-frills accommodation with a warm and family-friendly atmosphere, this 'pousada' may just be your ideal retreat.
